And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Ephesians 3:17-19
For the days – – – –
When our faith seems scarce and our emotions run big and wild and bossy.
Lets just remember His goodness and that His love runs strong and healing towards us anyway.
When our thoughts get the better of us and the blahs set in – – – when “not good enough” is on repeat in our head and our words run dry and our best seems thin.
Lets simply remember His love, His amazing grace – – – – and give our selves some.
When our ability is small and the task too big – – – there’s more to do than we have energy for and then things break down and come loose and don’t work.
Let’s just remember His grace, how when we can’t – He can – – – and let that be our strength.
When we’ve lost our way and not really sure how we got where we are.
Let’s remember His mercy – that it’s real and redeeming and fresh each morning.
For the days we just scrape in, winging it just, unsure, uninspired – let’s simply remember He is with us
He’s got this – this life of ours – on the days we ain’t got this – not even close -He’s got this.
God is with me and He is good. Some days that’s all I know.

It’s Afternoon Tea Time
