If God

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20 NIV

What if – – – God works all and everything together for our good. Our very good. (Romans 8:28)

What if God knows all things – the start, the finish, the top, the bottom, the length and breadth  – more than we know?

What if God has a plan? (Jeremiah 29:11)

What if  – – – the love of God is bigger and stretches further, way further, than we can even imagine.  (Romans 8:35-38)

What if He never leaves us? (Deuteronomy 31:6)

What if – – – what we see as the problem is part of God’s answer??

What if – – – Christ in us – is all we need to overcome in this world. (2 Peter 1:3)

What if all of it – all of it – has nothing to do with our goodness but is completely and totally because of His goodness.  (Ephesians 2:8)

If God – – – then.

We can rest and be at ease.

We can let his love comfort and keep us.

We can laugh at the storm – because He holds the storm in His hands.

We can be thankful in adversity – – – because it answers to Him.

We can banquet when it looks like we should have naught.

We can rise to every occasion, we can go from strength to strength – – – we can trust Him with our life.

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16-19 NIV
